• Before Starting the review I want to say that I have already published the review of the Kawasaki Ninja 400/300/650/ZX-10R.
• So, Kawasaki’s ninja Z900 is one of the popular naked-bike here in India that offers a powerful engine and killer design.
• Apart from that, the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja Z900 is improved and in 2022 we have a fresh new look with a couple of new features.
• so I will talk about only the things that have changed and what else Kawasaki is offering us with the new Ninja Z900.
• As usual, I am starting from the front we have new LED headlights and LED indicators & the 2017 Z900 used to come with reflector-type headlights.

• And the front cowl design has changed completely but it looks more aggeressive than before when you look at it from the front.
• one thing that is new in Kawasaki Z900 is the company has added two LED DRLs verticle stripes on both sides of the headlights.
• whenever I see the new Ninja Z900 it reminds me of the face of a predator. and this design makes this bike look stylish.
• The muscular image is inspired by Sugomi a designed philosophy that integrates aggressive lines with minimalist bodywork to draw attention to functional beauty.
• Besides this, you will find Z-pattern throughout the bike like on the fuel tank cowl, headlight cowl, and the LED taillights.

• And the thing I like about its Z900 design is it looks bulky from the middle section and shorter from the front and tail sections.
• when you look at the bike from the front tank cowls give a muscular stance to the bike I love it.
• Another change that the company has made is introducing a new 4.3-inch TFT colour instrument (speedometer).
• this 4.3 inch TFT screen Kawasaki is providing on its new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja 650, and Ninja 1000 SX models.
• The Screen’s background is selectable black or white & screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available lights.

• It shows a Digital Speedometer, Digital Bar-Style Tachometer, Gear Position Indicators, Shift lamp, and Fuel gauge odometer.
• Dual Trip Meters, Current and Average Fuel Consumption, Average Speed, Coolant Temperature, Battery Voltage, etc.
• Control the function of the TFT display switch gear cluster is bolted on the right side grip as you can see in the images.
• and on the right side switch gear cluster an engine starting switch and engine kill switch is provided.

• on the previous 2017 Kawasaki Ninja Z900, a cascading speedometer was there that had a digital screen in the middle to display info about the bike.
• Now moving on another feature that is really good for the rider is an adjustable front brake and clutch lever.
• The adjustable lever has a rotary knob on it to adjust it you need to rotate the knob by pulling the lever outwards & adjust it according to your finger’s reach.

• The company is offering two colours in India of Z900 that is Candy Lime Green & Metallic, Spark Black.

• We have talked a lot about the design and features of the new 2022 Kawasaki Ninja Z900.
• Now it’s time to check the ergonomics of the bike and see whether it is comfortable enough to take us on long rides.
• One thing I want to say is that these naked bikes are easy to ride in the city and on the streets & can be used as touring bikes.
• Sporty and relaxed upright ergonomics with heads-up visibility allow for a commanding ride position.
• That places the rider “in” the bike more confident and connected riding experience.

• A wide flat handlebar provides ideal leverage for higher-speed cornering and low-speed manoeuvring in the city & on the streets.
• Besides this, seat and footpeg position is an integral part of the rider triangle.
• Low seat height and tapered seat shape for easy foot placement at stops.
• The seat shape is wide at the rear for added comfort and cornering leverage.
• The footpeg position of the Z900 ABS motorcycle offers a relaxed knee bend for rider comfort.

• first, I want to mention riders, as well as pillion seats, are comfortable & a pillion seat cowl is also available with the bike.
• The 2021 Kawasaki Z900 seat height is 820 mm so tall riders will be comfortable on it and short-height riders could feel problems.

• but riders still need to be careful, especially when riding with a pillion.

• The mileage figures I am sharing with you are suggested by the rider to us.
• Rider said that in the city Ninja Z900 delivered 15.26 kmpl mileage.
• And on the highway, Z900 delivered 22.4 kmpl, and it’s great for this kind of bike.
• and mileage factor also depends upon the riding habit.

• Again I am sharing a rider experience about the top speed of the Ninja Z900.
• Z900 is powered by a 948 ccs 145 PS power 4-cylinder engine.
• this engine is able to take Ninja z900 more than 250 kmph at top speed.
• but during the test rider hit the 266 kmph top speed easily as you can see in the picture for proof.

Z900 Engine & transmission

• Behind every performance bike, there is a strong engine supplying power to the bike.
• powering this predator Z900 is a 948 cc, 4stroke, 4-cylinder engine liquid-cooled engine with a 6-speed gearbox.
• This engine develops 125 PS of power and 98.6 Nm of torque & delivering this power to the rear wheel.
• Z900 feels aggressive I mean when you twist the throttle front wheel usually lifts off the ground.

• like if you are a bigger rider so you have to be careful on the throttle.
• The Kawasaki Ninja Z900 2024 is fitted with an assist and slipper clutch providing a lighter feel at the lever.
• And a back-torque limiting function that helps prevent rear-wheel hop during aggressive downshifting.
• Besides this Kawasaki offers three riding modes KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Controls).

• Mode one provides the least amount of assistance with sport riding in mind.
• Mode Two offers earlier assistance and features balanced sport riding support.
• And Mode Three offers the most assistance, allowing riders to navigate challenging road conditions with confidence.
• Kawasaki also offers four riding modes combined with KTRC settings like Sport/Road/Rain/Manual.

• The 41mm inverted front fork with adjustable rebound damping and spring preload is responsive.
• And progressive for confident handling with a high level of feedback.
• At the rear horizontal back-link rear suspension with adjustable spring preload & stepless rebound damping.
• contributes to a high level of handling response, ride comfort, and rear wheel traction.
• Talking about brakes up front Z900 gets a dual petal disc of dia 300 mm & caliper with 4-piston each.
• and at rear single petal disc of 250 mm dia with single-piston calipers.
