Although these skid plates are dummies and doesnt provide any protection to the car. the outgoing models of venues like the USA look exactly the same variant as we have in India.

Talking about the headlights of the base E model venue you will get a similar headlight as we have in the previous model Halogen bulb is equipped and the pilot lamp is provided right above it.

SIDE DESIGN

Now as you move on the side of the car you will find some sharp cuts and creases beside this side cladding is also provided in this base model to enhance its SUV look.

In case you don’t know what is the cladding in a car? so let me tell you usually for off-road vehicles some black color plastic is attached to the car around wheel arches and on the door to protect it from scratches.

Before start saying anything I want to say that the interior of the Hyundai Venue E base model doesnt look ordinary as other car manufacturers’ cars look.

The overall quality and fit and finish are really good and in this base model, you will get Dual tone beige interiors whereas the previous model got only a back color interior.

when you open the door of the car you will find electronic power window switches on the driver-side door only the front doors have a power window function.

on the other hand, ORVMs are manually adjustable and foldable so you will get an ORVM adjusting knob. and rear windows are manually operated.

In this base model, you will get electric power steering that can be adjustable tilt wise and on the steering, you do get a couple of buttons to control the MID on the speedometer.

Talking about the speedometer that is the analog type that is easy to read and I personally like analog speedo over digital speedometer just like top model venue.

Besides this, the manual Air conditioner is provided in this car & AC controls are of good quality. below A.C. controls you do get a C-type charging slot and a 12V power outlet.

And on the center console gear knob, parking brake, and two cup holders are provided as you can see in the images.

The thing you may not like is you don’t get any infotainment or music system and no speakers you need to buy then aftermarket.

SEATING

Speaking of seats of the venue it’s comfortable you will have good quality seats that offer enough headroom and leg room and the material of the seats is fabric.

One more thing front seats are manually adjustable with adjustable headrests and the rear seats are 60:40 split seats with fixed headrests.

Besides this, the bumper is of body-color front and rear, and a large horizontal opening is provided below the bumper to allow air to come inside to cool the radiator.

But one thing that is different in this S model is you will get a flip key with a lock and unlock button whereas the base model has a simple key.

So upfront you will get the same dark chrome front grille just like other models and what’s new in this venue S? in this model you will get LED projector headlights with a cornering function & company has also provided LED DRLs with this model nice thing to have.

Besides this, front and rear bumpers are body-colored and skid plates are also provided by the company. and it looks exactly the same as the other model I will not explain more.

When you come to the side of the vehicle you will see stylish wheels and you may be fooled that they are alloy wheels. yes, they look like alloy wheels but they are not.

So with 1.2 Liters petrol engine, you will get R15 steel wheels with covers, and with 1.0L and 1.5 Diesel models you will get R16 styled wheels these styled wheels look like alloy wheels but they are made up of steel.

Other than this outside door handles and ORVMs are of body colors and ORVMs are electrically adjustable and manually foldable.

Now as I opened the door of the car I found the same dual-tone greige interior on the driver-side door electric ORVM and power windows control switches are provided and on all the doors separate power window switch is provided.

In this model Digital cluster with the color TFT MID is provided and MID can be controlled via a button that is provided on the left side of the steering wheel.

And on the steering wheel, you will get Bluetooth and audio controls, and the steering wheel is tilt-wise adjustable behind the steering wheel, you will get regular lights and wiper controls.

Now move to the center of the dashboard you will get a large 20.32 cm (8″) touchscreen infotainment system with four speakers on each door adding more fun Android Auto & Apple Carplay is also provided with the car.

And to make the car look premium silver finish is provided on the starting, around A.C vents, and on the gearknob that is not present below this model.

Moving down the dashboard you will see some buttons to control the HD touch screen and further moving down you will see Manual Air Conditioning controls and C-type charging ports and 12V power sockets to keep your gadget fully charged on the go.

SEATS

Speaking about seats front seats are manually adjustable and in this model, the seat can be adjustable according to your height manually a lever is provided on the right side of the driver seats, and the headrest of the seat is adjustable.

Besides this, rear seats can be foldable and headrest remains fixed in the model, and seats are made up of fabric in this variant.

so here comes the top model just like the other model it looks the same the front grille is the same & bumper is the same.

So upfront you will get the LED headlights with cornering function and LED DRLs and each height contains projector light and conventional light. and there is no fog lamp is provided by the company.

And front grille is also the same and the front and rear bumper is of body color and no change will notice in it.

Moving on the side of the car you will notice that the fender-mounted indicator is moved onto ORVMs and these outer mirrors are electronically adjustable.

Besides this, if you are buying a 1.2 Petrol model then you will get R15 steel wheels with a cover, and with the 1.5 diesel model, you will get R16 Alloy wheels same in the Venue Sx (O) model.

On the other hand in the SX model door handle comes with a body color and SX optional model comes with chrome handles.

REAR VIEW

Moving on to the rear of the car you will see an LED taillight connected type and a high mount stop lamp and on the rear bumper, you will get rear fog lights the SX model company is not offering wiper and wash.

But with the SX optional model, you do get a wiper and washer and rear defogger, and the rest of the things you can see in the images.

Is the Venue comfortable for a long drive?

Moving inside the car I found a few things that are different from the base model so as you will open the door you will see Power window switches with a one-touch up and down feature and ORVM folding and adjusting mirror.

Besides it’s on the steering wheel you will get Bluetooth and audio controls and a fully digital instrument cluster is provided in this model. and if you get SX (O) with DCT transmission then a paddle shifter comes behind the steering wheel.

Moving on to the center of the dashboard a 20.32 cm (8″) HD infotainment system with Bluelink along with four speakers on each door is provided and infotainment buttons are provided below the screen.

As you further move down you will see fully Automatic Air conditioning controls are given by the company and it’s available in SX optional model also.

Speaking about convinenanc c-type charging port and 12V power socket is provided and for the rear passenger c type port is also provided.

When you look around the cabin of the top model you will see a silver finish element is provided to make the car look more premium like and gear knob, A.C. vents, and the steering system.

Now as I said I found some unique things in this model an air purifier provided by the Hyundai in this top model and rear A.C. vents facility also there for the rear passenger.

Hyundai Venue SX gets electronic adjustable front seats along with height adjustability and the headrest is also adjustable with SX optional model seats are available in leather+fabric model.

Similarly, passenger seats can be folded and the 60:40 split folding facility is there and on SX (O) model headrest also comes adjustable. as you can see in the images.

Whereas Hyundai venue petrol with 1.0-liter turbo with 7-speed DCT transmission delivered 14.01 kmpl during the test the car drove into the city traffic and on the highway with A.C turned on and the car delivered great mileage.

The company has provided a sliding switch on the roof in between the roof light near the inner view mirror so as you slide the switch forward roof will open automatically and vice versa.

In case you dont want to open the sunroof but want ventilation only then just press a button on the roof it will open a bit from its backside as you can see in the video.

Whereas venue S is a second base model and it’s slightly better equipped as compared to the base e model and also comes with the same 1.2 petrol engine and gearbox.

Besides this Hyundai Venue S+ model is a real value-for-money configuration because it comes with projector-led lights and styled wheels etc but it comes with DCT and iMT gearbox with a 1.2-liter petrol engine.

On the other hand, SX and SX (O) are fully loaded models and come with a 1.0 Litre turbo petrol and 1.5 U2 CRDi diesel engine with DCT 7-speed/imt and 6-speed automatic gearbox. above ii have explained each model with images.

And for those who want more power and performance, Hyundai is offering a 998 cc turbo GDI engine with Dual clutch transmission & for diesel car lovers company is offering a 1.5 diesel engine with a 6-speed gearbox that gives great mileage.

On broken roads and right patches, car suspension absorbs the bump very well, and on the off-road car performs well even if it has a two-wheel drive system.

Now if you compare the new 2022 venue with the previous 2020 venue it looks much better & if you are thinking to buy it don’t take the tension it’s worth the money.

But in case you are looking for a similar option then I will suggest you kia sonet looks slightly better and more premium than the venue.
