Design
Now talking about the design let me tell you one thing the design is almost the same as the before except for its instrument cluster. it has the same design from front to rear. like it has bi-functional LED headlights and DRLS.
The rear has the same LED taillights. fuel tank design and tank design are the same as before. but now you will get E20 badging on the fuel tank and the front mudguard has a sticker of dual channel ABS.
Besides this, the switch gear design has changed now like on the left side switch gear has a new mode button whereas on the previous bike, it was with the instrument cluster. and the passing light button has low/high beam functionality.
rest of the design is the same and you can see this in the images we have shown.
New Digital Fully Digital Console
The new digital instrument console. the previous 2023 model Pulsar N160 used to come with part digital and analog meter. this new digital instrument console is loaded with features like Distance to empty, Instant fuel economy, gear position indicator, and side stand warning.
Besides this, you can now connect your phone to this bike via Bluetooth and can see SMS, Calls, battery percentage etc. On the other hand, it shows various engine malfunctioning warnings. but I like the design of the previous part analogue and part digital design.
Suspension and Brakes
Talking about suspension you will not get any USD forks till now. it is equipped with 37 mm Telescopic forks in front and a monoshocker a the rear.
whereas you will get Dual Channel ABS with the Bajaj Pulsar N160 2024 grimeca brake calliper it has a 300 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc brake.
Talking about tyres it has a wider rear tyre which is nearly 10mm wider than before hence the tyre size is (100/80-17 Front, 130/70-17 Rear).

How Bajaj Pulsar N160 E20 looks BS7?
Well, the Pulsar N160 is exactly the same as the N250 with minor changes. and at one sight it’s hard to identify both bikes whether it’s N160 or N250. But I will show you some little details about the bike which will help you to know this bike more. Read More
FRONT DESIGN
From the front, there is no change in the design. you will get the same LED projector light that consists of both high and low beams. whereas the LED positioning light is also the same with no difference, moving on to the front fender is also the same double-layer type.
Besides this, to mount the Licence plate bajaj has provided some space above the headlight and the front fairing is not available in this bike so you cannot save yourself from a large wind blast during a highway ride.
Now here comes the change in the N160 you will get halogen-equipped clear lens turn indicators whereas, in the Pulsar N250, you will get LED turn indicators. and side view mirrors are bolted on the handlebar because you don’t have a large fairing.
SIDE VIEW
Talking about the side profile of the bike it’s pretty much the same as the N250 except for one thing that is exhaust. yes in the 160 you will get an underbelly exhaust whereas with the N250 you will get a short side exhaust pipe.
Personally speaking, I don’t like the underbelly exhaust design bike those bikes look incomplete to me. but you may like that kind of design it’s the personal choice of everyone.
Talking about seats and fuel tanks they are exactly identical to the N250. besides this, you will get a tyre hugger at the rear wheel to save your bike from dirt and a mud flap is also provided below the monoshocker to save the shocker from mud.
I love the design of the wheels and if you buy a dual-channel ABS model you will get black colour wheels with racing stripes over them and if you buy single-channel ABS then you will get silver colour Alloy with racing decals.
Apart from that, the engine cowl is also provided with N160 and this engine cowl is made up of fibre plastic, not metal so it’s just a design element and it’s not going to save your bike from underbelly damage.
On the left side of the bike, Bajaj has added a saree guard which is well designed and does not look awkward and upfront for rider protection a two-piece leg guard has been provided that not only saves your legs but also prevents engine damage.
Lastly, the chain remains exposed in the N160 model means no full chain cover is provided so you have to get your chain sprocket cleaned often. I think I have explained almost everything and the rest of the things you can see in the images we have provided.
REARVIEW
Talking about the rear view N160 is identical to the N250. but you will see only one change here the Halogrn equipped indicators and the rest of the things like the Licence plate holder, dual strips type LED taillight and grab handles all are the same.
HANDLEBAR
Another change here is the handlebar in the Pulsar F250 you get a clip-on handlebar but with the naked Pulsar N250/160 you will get a bar-type handle that is slightly bent toward the rider and gives good control over the bike.
SWITCHGEAR CLUSTER
One thing, I like about the new pulsar is that the company is offering an illuminated switch gear cluster that makes it easy to operate at night during rides. and a new rider doesn’t need to find them blindly.
The left side cluster consists of four switches which are the Passing/High & low beam/ Turn indicator and the horn switch.
Similarly, on the right side switch gear cluster you will get three switches which are the Engine kill switch/the headlight on/off and the self-start switch.
INFINITY DISPLAY
The speedometer is also identical to the N250 with no change.
What colour options do we get with the “Dual-Channel” ABS N160?
You will get two colour options with the Dual Channels ABS N160 model that is Brooklyn Black and Caribbean blue and the engine/Alloy wheels also come painted in black colours with this model.
What colour options do we get with the “Single-Channel” ABS N160?
With single-channel ABS we have the freedom to choose from three exciting colours with new graphics these colours are Caribbean blue, Racing Red & Techno Grey. with these colours, you will get bronze colour engine side covers and silver colour alloy wheels that look sporty yet premium. I personally love these colours, especially Racing Red.
How Bajaj Pulsar N160 Engine performs?
first, let’s see the key specs of the N160 pulsar engine. this engine is 164.82 cc, single cylinder 4 stroke, SOHC, 2 valves, Oil cooled, Fuel injected engine. that develops 16PS of power and 14.65 Nm of torque. Read More
This engine is coupled with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox that delivers power smoothly to the rear wheel via chain and sprocket arrangement. and to shift gear you have a toe shifter.
When you ride this bike it feels smoother and when you twist the throttle it pulls effortlessly which is sufficient to put a smile on your face. and as this bike is 160cc it has a nice Initial, mid and top-end power range.
and you can cruise effortlessly above 80 kmph all day and the engine will not show you any sign of loss of power. and one more thing if you want to ride this bike on long routes you can ride it it’s absolutely fantastic.
Talking about the suspension system the Pulsar N160 dual ABS comes with 37 mm telescopic suspension and single-channel ABS comes with thin 31 mm telescopic forks. Besides this, at the rear, you will get Monoshocker and this suspension system absorbs bumps efficiently and keeps you in comfort even on broken roads.
Talking about brakes you will get front and rear disc brakes with ABS and these brake callipers offer great bite and good stopping power.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 Top Speed
What is the real top speed of the Pulsar N160?
Here I want to say that these naked bikes are not designed to hit top speed but most people still think that top speed is a parameter to judge any bike’s performance. Read More
so I have seen during the test that the Pulsar N160 hits the top speed of 128 kmph and at this speed, the rev limiter restricts the acceleration of the engine.
It was not going beyond 128 kmph and proof you can see in the image. and don’t forget that its 2-valve engine this engine mainly designed for initial and mid-range performance.

128 kmph.

TVS has changed the design of LED positioning lights and now they look like a beast eye imposing. The rear taillights also come with LED. but the indicators are still halogen type but they look cool.
Another change TVS has made is that some body panels of the Apache RTR 160 get carbon treatment/finish that makes the bike look premium. besides this, the company has added a new fully digital speedo meter that replaced the older semi-digital unit.
when you compare the Pulsar N160 with the Apache RTR160 you will find some changes here like Apache RTR160 looks more muscular than the Pulsar N160.
Apache RTR 160 comes with a fully digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity but the Pulsar N160 gets a digital instrument.
The brake lever comes with a metal finish whereas the Pulsar n160 comes in black colour and personally I like the Apache RTR160 because it has a side-mounted exhaust and the N160 comes with an underbelly exhaust and I don’t like the design underbelly design.
NOTE: I personally like the Apache RTR160 in terms of design but it doesnt mean that N160 is not attractive.

Conclusion
Guys, no doubt the Pulsar N160 is a great product and you also have a bigger N250 model. but Apache RTR160 is offering fully digital speedo with Bluetooth connectivity, supermoto ABS, clip-on handlebar and three riding modes.
so I belive that the Apache RTR160 is slightly better and you also have the RTR 160 4V which is well equipped and comes with great design. so Apache RTR 160 is our choice.
